Block Counting

This subtest contains up to 31 questions and assesses visual spatial abilities using visual-based puzzles.

Each question will be timed 45 seconds per item. Work carefully.

No external aids (notes, scratch paper, drawing tools, etc.) are allowed.

You may attempt some sample items on the next page before the test begins.

Your objective is to count the total number of blocks in each figure.

Please note the following important rules:

• All blocks have the same shape and size in each figure.
• Gravity applies, so there can be no empty space beneath any part of a block.

You must find the arrangement that satisfies the above and requires the least amount of blocks.
